Ålesund Hostel have 12 rooms and two lare dormitories, two conferance rooms, guest kitchen and laundry facilities

Ålesund 

Ålesund was rebuilt after the town fire in 1904, and the town is today one of the 3 European towns that has the magnificent Jugend architecture. Other sights: the pittoresque fishing harbour Brosundet, boat life among the street Skansegata, the breathtaking view over the fjord, the mountains and the ocean from Fjellstua, the open air museum Sunnmøre Friluftsmuseum in Borgundgavlen, Aalesunds Museum and the Aquarium. Ålesund Hostel is open all year

Poor children can’t travel The turists love Norway espesialy the Polish, they travel here i ever vaster numbers year after year. They love the mountains and the nature here. Far from every polish persson can afford to travel to the most expesive country in the world, Only the ones with a job and money can makte the trip. Its alot of people that cant travel at all. Mayby they live in shildrens homes maby the have pore parents that cant work maby they are disabeld in some way.  We want to give this shildren the same opertuneies as the others to explore the land of their dreams Norway. In April or May in 2011 we have pland to invite a busgroup from southern poland to stay with us at Hellesylt hostel for free. Very big and good breakfast, with fresh fruits also!!! I would stay there again, the man at the recetion was very kind and helpful to us, we've reserved a double room (shared bathroom) at 650 ,-nok for 1 night very nice. It was like an apartment, but it was a little bit far from the hostel, that was the only thing abnormal that i found...anyway a great hostel in a rgeat city!!! IRENE and FABIO

The people staffing the hostel were incredibly helpful to us. The room was perfect for our needs and the location was ideal. It was clean, comfortable and overall a great experience. We would recommend it absolutely to friends and family
